For your reference: at www.doorway.ru website I found a driver for a similar printer the X (instead of the X I have) which offer a Windows Vista driver, I downloaded it and executed it, and guess what? My Lexmark x printer worked fine with the downloadable driver on Windows XP; but when that computer died and was replaced with a Windows 7 OS, neither the software driver or the downloadable driver will communicate with the printer. Hello, I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium. My old usb printer, Lexmark x, does not seem to have a driver available for this OS.
